This project is part of the East Nusa Tenggara Provincial Government's initiative to enhance rural electrification through renewable energy. GMN Energy was entrusted by the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) of NTT to implement two off-grid solar photovoltaic systems in East Sumba.
Executed between May 16 and November 12, 2023, the project delivered a total installed capacity of 160 kWp, comprising two systems of 120 kWp and 40 kWp respectively. These systems provide reliable electricity to remote communities previously without access to the national grid.
GMN Energy managed the full scope of the project, including engineering design, procurement, installation, and commissioning. Additionally, GMN provided training to local operators to ensure sustainable operation and maintenance of the systems.
